National Conference on Empowering Communities: Bridging the Gap through Innovation and Inclusivity

Samajik Vikas Shodh Sansthan (SVSS), Agra is pleased to announce the call for papers for a National Conference on ‘Empowering Communities: Bridging the Gap through Innovation and Inclusivity’. This conference aims to provide a platform for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and stakeholders to share insights, discuss challenges, and explore innovative solutions in various domains crucial for community development.

The core themes for research papers include, but are not limited to:

  • Rural Development: Exploring strategies and initiatives to promote sustainable rural development, enhance livelihoods, and address challenges faced by rural communities.
  • Women Empowerment: Examining approaches to empower women economically, socially, and politically, and fostering gender equality and inclusivity.
  • Urban Poor: Investigating issues related to urban poverty, access to basic services, affordable housing, and inclusive urban development.
  • Information and Communication for the Poor: Analyzing the role of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in addressing the needs of marginalized communities, improving access to information, and enhancing communication channels.
  • Digitalization: Exploring the opportunities and challenges of digitalization in transforming communities, fostering innovation, and promoting socio-economic development.
  • Digital Communication Infrastructure: Discussing strategies for building robust digital communication infrastructure, expanding connectivity, and ensuring equitable access to digital resources.

We invite researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and academicians to submit original research papers, case studies,
and innovative practices related to the conference themes. Submissions should contribute to advancing knowledge,
promoting dialogue, and fostering collaborations aimed at empowering communities and creating positive social impact.

Selected papers will be considered for publication in the 5th Volume of Vikas, a journal of research, dealing with social science, humanities and science (ISSN 0972-7973), which is the official journal of Samajik Vikas Shodh Sansthan, Agra.
