SRR GOVERNMENT ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE KARIMNAGAR (A) (Re-accredited with ‘A’ Grade by NAAC and ISO 9001:2015 Certified)

About the Session

  • When: 26th May 2022 at 11:00AM
  • Platform: Zoom
  • Free Session

This talk falls fourth in its Physics Webinar Series (Chapter-1)

Speaker: Jessy Jose, Asst.Prof. of Physics, IISER Tirupati

This talk is intended to give an impetus to the general physics students and teachers to get basic understanding and enthusiasm about stars and planets beyond our solar system. The fulcrum of the talk will be about things thus far considered mysteries and wonders of the universe, beyond our normal and routine physics course.

There are ample number of government research institutes and universities in India which make studies and carry out research on space science, cosmology, astrophysics and aviation etc giving plenty of job opportunities for students. General physics courses do not focus on the cosmological events. As such, the department of physics is arranging this talk to give a minimum of ‘EXOPLANETS’

If a student pursuing physics course at UG/PG/Research level and a teacher teaching physics at UG/PG level and very much interested to know the formation and detection of exotic planets are requested to attend the online popular talk by registering at:

The poster, schedule and zoom link will be shared to the registered participants by emails and WhatsApp. Only those participants serious enough to keep online throughout the talk right from beginning to the end and make notes of things presented and take part in the interaction at the end are strongly encouraged to register for the program without fail.
