IIT madras Shaastra Magazine kicks off the ‘Shaastra Techathon 2024’ with the AI / ML challenge for college students.
Chennai: IIT Madras Shaastra the premier science and technology magazine from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, is excited to announce the launch of ‘Shaastra Techathon 2024.’ This year, the ‘Shaastra Techathon’ kicks off with the AI/ML challenge, inviting students from all colleges to showcase their talents and capabilities in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Participants will be presented with a problem statement for which they have to develop algorithms to find the closest solution. The challenge is designed by domain experts from IIT Madras, ensuring a high-quality and relevant competition. An explainer video with rules and approach guidelines will be released on April 22nd.
“The goal of Shaastra Magazine is to make science and technology news more accessible to the common man. As part of our initiatives to kindle scientific temper and curiosity among students, we are organising Shaastra Techathon 2024. It is a platform for students to demonstrate their talents and capabilities and be recognised and celebrated. We invite students from all colleges to participate and stand a chance to win exciting prizes,” said Prof. Srikanth Vedantam, the head of the Editorial Board of IIT Madras Shaastra Magazine.
