Objective:

To celebrate the enduring impact of television and its ability to connect people from all walks of life, we are inviting participants to submit their creative interpretations of the theme “World Television Day: Point of View” through a variety of mediums, including:

  • Photography: Capture the essence of television’s role in shaping our lives through captivating images.
  • Video: Create a short film or video that explores the unique perspectives and experiences television brings to our world.
  • Written Word: Pen a heartwarming story, a thought-provoking essay, or a moving poem that reflects on the significance of television in our society.

Eligibility:

The competition is open to all individuals worldwide, regardless of age, background, or experience.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Choose your medium: Decide whether you will submit a photograph, a video, or a written piece.
  2. Follow the theme: Ensure your submission aligns with the theme “World Television Day: Point of View”.
  3. Originality and creativity: Let your imagination run wild and express your unique perspective on television’s influence.
  4. Technical quality: Ensure your submission is of high technical quality, whether it’s a clear photograph, a well-edited video, or a polished written piece.
  5. Deadline: Submit your entry by 2nd December 2023.

Judging Criteria:

Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Relevance to the theme: How effectively does the submission capture the essence of the theme “World Television Day: Point of View”?
  • Creativity and originality: Does the submission present a unique and thought-provoking perspective on television’s impact?
  • Technical quality: Is the submission visually appealing (for photographs and videos) and well-written (for written pieces)?
  • Overall impact: Does the submission leave a lasting impression and evoke a strong emotional response?

Prizes:

Winners will be selected from each category (photography, video, written word) and awarded the following prizes:

  • The top 5 entries shall receive the certificate of appreciation common for both Faculty /Students
  • A certificate of participation shall be issued to all the participants on successful submission

Additional Recognition:

All winners and finalists will receive recognition on our website and social media channels. They may also be featured in future publications or promotional materials.
