National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is one of the primary centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space. NRSC has the mandate for establishment of groundstations for receiving satellite data, generation of data products, dissemination to the users, development of techniques for remote sensing applications including disaster management support, geospatial services for good governance and capacity building for professionals, faculty and students. NRSC operates through multiple campuses to meet national and regional remote sensing data and applications needs of the country

Salary and Other Benefits
- Research Scientist (RS): Level 10 (₹56,100/-) in the Pay Matrix (as per VII CPC) + Dearness Allowance and HRA(if not provided with accommodation) at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid.
- Project Scientist-I: The Project Scientist-I shall be paid ₹ 56,000/- per month and HRA at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid
- Project Scientist-B: The Project Scientist-I shall be paid ₹ 56,000/- per month and HRA at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid, if not provided with accommodation.
- Project Associate-I: The Project Associate-I shall be paid ₹31,000/- per month and HRA at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid, if not provided with accommodation
- Project Associate-II: The Project Associate-II shall be paid ₹35,000/- per month and HRA at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid, if not provided with accommodation
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): The Junior Research Fellows (JRF) shall be paid ₹37,000/- per month with a possibility to be increased to ₹42,000/- as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) after two years upon successful completion and review of research work of the previous two years by a review committee.
