Abstract
The recent past has seen exponential growth in Digital / Industry 4.0. While the benefits of the digital technologies are undoubtedly excellent which has been proven in sectors such as ICT, Banking etc., there are inherent challenges of its fast implementation in manufacturing sector such as the legacy infrastructures, mindset etc. which is hindering the fast adaptation to the new technologies. Dr. Bharat Bhushan will share his experience in successfully driving digital transformation in manufacturing organizations. He brings in more than twenty-five years of experience in Manufacturing & Digital transformation. Currently, he is working as VP (Projects, Engineering & Technology) & CIO at Tata Steel Downstream Products Ltd. Prior to this, he has been associated with leading companies like Tata Steel, Tata Metaliks, EY, Hatch, Vedanta, and TCE in senior leadership positions in India, UK, USA, Canada, China, & Australia. Bharat has also authored a book titled ‘Data Driven Techniques for Advances Process Monitoring’.
