In order to meet the challenges emerging from advancement in technology & changing socioeconomic scenario, Higher Education in India needs to adopt a dynamic approach by consistent training and development of its work force. National Education Policy, 2020
prescribes a detailed roadmap to make it possible. Planned efforts are needed to strengthen the research quality in higher education at national level. The capacity-building programme intends to empower the young faculty in variety of tools and techniques of social science
research problems. It will enable the learners to apply these methods in emerging economic and social issues. The programme will provide deep insights on variety of qualitative and quantitative methods and equip the learners with fruitful training for improved research
outcomes. The participants will develop thorough understanding in all steps of research process i.e. research problem formulation, designing, data collection, data anlysis and report drafting. Hands on training sessions will be conducted using SPSS, AMOS, MS Excel, R and other
latest softwares.

Who Can Apply
Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Faculty in the field of Social Sciences in a UGC-recognized Indian University /Deemed University/College/Institute of National Importance and ICSSR Research
Institutes or engaged in or planning to engage in economic and social science research will be eligible to apply.
How to Register?
There is no registration fee. Interested candidates can apply through the Google Form to the Course Director with duly filled registration form on or before 15.04.2023. The registration form/Forwarding letter is enclosed with this notification. The registration form and brochure can also be downloaded from the University website.

Note:
- CBP will be in face to face mode (Offline Mode). Attendance of all sessions is mandatory.
- Certificate will be provided to only those participants who will attend all sessions without fail.
- The travelling fare and accommodation will be provided as per prevailing University rules.
- Pre and post-test of the participants will be conducted. On the basis of the scores of the participants in both the test, the impact of CBP will be determined. The participants will be asked to prepare a research proposal.
- The decision of the competent authority is final on any matter.
