About the Programme
- When: 18 March to 23 March, 2024
- No fees will be charged from participants
- The programme is open to faculty members (regular/permanent/ad-hoc /contractual/guest) from all disciplines at all levels
- The participants are required to attend all the sessions of the programme sincerely
- No leave will be granted during the programme
- The participants will be requested to submit their opinions and suggestions (feedback) on the various components of the program
Objectives
- To develop interdisciplinary approach and analytical thinking for research
- To explain important aspects of Research Methodology
- To impart intense knowledge about different types of research designs and sampling methods
- To enhance understanding of data types and basic as well as advanced tools and techniques of classification and analysis
- To enable the participants to apply tools and techniques for their research and reporting of research outcome with the help of appropriate software.
- To provide them with hands-on experience on different software of data analysis.
- To improve writing of research paper & understand the publishing process.
Expected Outcomes
After successful completion of this online program, the participants will be able to conduct quality research and produce fruitful outcomes. They will conduct research in a scientific manner by using appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods and effectively analyse the data. They will be competent to report their research outcomes impressively and generate quality publications.
Incentive for Faculty Members
This Short Term Course conducted under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme shall be taken into consideration for the fulfilment of the requirements as laid down in the Career Advancement Scheme as per UGC Regulations on Minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education 2018.
Programme Duration and Contact Hours
It is a one week programme to be held from 18 March to 23 March, 2024 with 36 contact hours. The Duration Short Term Programme will be of 6 working days (36 hours).
