 Assistant Project Coordinator

The Research and Knowledge Management department is looking for an Assistant Project Coordinator. 

CSR is looking for a committed individual who is passionate about issues of women’s empowerment, gender equality and justice and women’s equal representation in decision making bodies. S/he will provide overall support to the Project Manager in project implementation and coordination.  

Eligibility:

  • MA/MSW or M.Phil degree in Social Sciences 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the social sector, especially in the field of Gender equality, capacity building, time bound project implementation and/or action research. Previous experience working with NGOs or government organizations is preferred
  • Enthusiastic to work in challenging situations and capable of risk mitigation
  • Proven writing ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Functional skills in social media management
  • Comfortable with outstation travel, team work and networking abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Coordinator with timely inputs and updates for project implementation.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, training sessions and outreach programmes with local stakeholders
  • Liaise and network with local stakeholders
  • Assist in the production and dissemination of advocacy materials, web updates, media releases and presentations as and when required
  • Self-initiative to look into risk mitigation in smooth implementation of project work

Remuneration: Salary for the position will commensurate with qualifications and work experience in the relevant field.

The Research and Knowledge Management department is looking for interns to work on a diverse range of projects based in Delhi or other cities in India.

  • The Intern will be responsible for desk work as well as field work (field expenses will be covered by CSR). 
  • The intern will also be involved in communication and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Eligibility:

  • Graduate/ Post Graduate students seeking internship opportunities in the development sector

 Female candidates are preferred.

Remuneration:

  • CSR will pay the stipend after completion of the 3 months of the internship @Rs.6000/ month for three months (a total of Rs.18000 will be paid after completion of the 3 months of internship with CSR).
  • You will also be awarded a letter of recommendation at the end of the internship. 
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Location: On-site, 2 locations- New Delhi and Gurgaon office

The Gender, Water and Climate Change Department at the Centre for Social Research is looking for Interns to work on a diverse range of projects based in Delhi or other cities in India.
