District Mineral Foundation Keonjhar is providing Career Counselling & Life Skills Training to Students in Schools & Colleges of Keonjhar District, Odisha. This initiative is designed to address the career aspirations and personal development needs of 55,622 students enrolled in 169 educational institutes within the district. It focuses on empowering students with essential skills and guidance to make informed career decisions and navigate various life challenges effectively. Through workshops, seminars, and counselling sessions, the project seeks to equip students with the necessary tools to succeed academically and professionally while enhancing their personal development and well-being. The following listed roles for project implementation through project management, Training of Trainers, conducting psychometric tests, interactive workshops, seminars, counselling sessions will ensure smooth implementation.

Qualification and Other Details
- Minimum Post Graduation/PG Diploma in Business Administration/ Science/Mathematics/ Technology/ Social Work or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project Management/School monitoring/Social Work or related field.
Role/Job Description
- To oversee the entire program’s planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitoring project progress and reporting to the department.
- Coordinate with JRC by submitting regular weekly/monthly reports.
MIS Coordinator 1 Post
Minimum Qualification Required
- Minimum Graduation in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Technology or related field.

Career Counsellor 15 Posts
Minimum Qualification
- Minimum Graduation; with certificate of diploma in Career counselling/PG Diploma in Counselling or master’s in psychology or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing career/educational counselling to students at schools/ colleges/ educational institutes.
- These counsellors are to be appointed at the cluster level where the counsellor should visit the schools at least once every 15 days. Counsellors are to be supported by the respective school teachers.
Job Description
- Conduct counselling sessions with students and administer career assessment tools and interpret result.
Life Skill Trainer 15 Posts
Qualification
- Minimum Graduation or higher in fields such as psychology, counselling, social work, education, English, business management, IT or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing life skills training to students at schools/ colleges/ educational institutes.
Job Description
