Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-one
Emoluments: Rs. 31000 + HRA (as admissible)
Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Foods & Nutrition / Food Technology/Home Science/Community Sciences /Agri Business Management/ selected through process described by any of following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test –CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE
- The selection process will be through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Department and their agencies and institution such as DST, DBT, DAE,DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc
Desirable qualifications:
- Experience of working in villages with farm women, formation of SHG/FIG.
- Knowledge and experience of food processing/ product development/marketing/Entrepreneurship development.
- Experience of conducting survey, statistical analysis and interpretation of data.
- Publications in journals, book chapters etc.
Age Limit: (JRF): The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years as on the date of walk- in- interview

Name of Post Junior Field Assistant (JFA) one
Emoluments: Rs. Rs. 15,000/-(Consolidated)
Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in Home Science / Agriculture /Veterinary Sc/Food Technology/Agri. Business Management/ MSW
Desirable qualifications: Experience of working in farms, food processing, PRA, basic computer
knowledge, recording of field data.
Age Limit(FA) The upper age limit for FA shall be 35 years as on the date of walk-in-interview
(Relaxation for SC/ST/Women & OBC candidates as per rule).
Duration and other conditions
(JRF &JFA) The posts are purely temporary and can be terminated any time without assigning any reason / or on the basis of performance. Further, the positions are co-terminus with the project and either due to expiry of project or non- availability of funds anytime. (Purely Temporary).
(Qualification and emoluments against the posts are as per DST Memorandum No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30 January 2019).The candidates fulfilling the qualifications for the above positions are required to appear for a walk-in-interview to be held at the office of Dr. Pratibha Tewari, PI and Principal Scientist, Division of Transfer of Technology and Training, ICAR-CAZRI, Light Industrial Area,Jodhpur. The candidate should bring his/her bio-data on a plain paper duly signed and pasted with a recent colour passport size photograph on it. The candidates should appear with the following (i) Original certificate of educational qualifications and their attested copies (ii) Relevant publications (iii) A brief of research work carried out during post graduation (iv)No objection certificate from the employer in case of employment elsewhere (v) Experience certificate in original and testimonials, if any
The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The service of the selected candidate will stand terminated automatically after the expiry of the project or completion of period mentioned in the offer of appointment, whichever is earlier. Further the services of the person engaged under the above position can be terminated anytime by the competent authority without giving any notice. He/she will not have any right to claim for regularization or absorption whatsoever in regular vacancies of the Institute/ICAR. TA/DA will not be admissible for attending the interview.
