The Interfacing Cyber and Physical World Working Group (IEEE 2888 WG) has been developing standards to provide standardized interfaces for the cyber and physical world. The Working Group is also in the process of establishing application oriented standards based on these developing interface standards. In this webinar, the speakers will introduce six of activities in IEEE 2888 WG:
- P2888.1: Data formats for gathering information from sensors
- P2888.2: Dommand formats to control actuators
- P2888.3: Terms, requirements, and architecture for synchronization of digital objects and physical objects
- P2888.4: Standardized architecture for virtual reality based disaster response training systems
