About the World Book Day
World Book Day Celebration

The main purpose of World Book Day is to promote the importance of reading, particularly among children and young people, and to encourage everyone to discover the joy of books. It’s also an opportunity to promote literacy and support book industries around the world.
In many countries, World Book Day is marked by events and activities such as book fairs, author readings, and book giveaways. Schools often participate by encouraging students to dress up as their favorite book characters and holding book-related activities and workshops. Some countries even distribute vouchers that allow children to exchange them for free books at local bookstores.
