Department of English, N.S.S Arts and Science College Parakkulam in collaboration with College IQAC and ICSSR New Delhi organises a National Seminar on “75 Years of Democratic Decentralization and Remembering the Unsung Heroines of Parakkulam” to celebrate the 75 Years of National Independence. The sessions primarily focus on the history, evolution and present state and challenges of democratic decentralisation in our country through the introduction of RTI act and policies fortifying gender justice in the State. A session will be devoted entirely to celebrate the unsung heroines of our locality who have contributed substantially to the Nationalist Movement. The last session is dedicated to paper presentations by faculties, scholars and students.
