Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) is a National Centre of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. The Centre is India’s nodal centre for Olympiad programmes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Astronomy.
About the Camp
- It’s an offline Camp for teachers.
- The camp will be held from 17th – 20th October, 2023 at HBCSE.
- The camp will include various exposure sessions in theory and experimental components of the Biology Olympiad.
- Eminent speakers/scientists will interact with participants on various interesting topics, giving them a flavor of the biology olympiad activity.
Who can apply?
Junior and degree college biology teachers are invited to participate in this camp.
- Please do not re-apply if you have already attended the camp once.

You are required to upload a jpeg file of your latest photograph and a pdf of the recommendation letter by the Principal of your School/College (on the letterhead of the School/College with the stamp/seal of the Institute).

The list of selected participants will be uploaded on this website by the evening of 20th September, 2023.

Travel and Accommodation:
All the selected participants will be eligible for to and fro travel fare as per the norms of our Institute. Details regarding the same will be included in the invitation letter that will be sent to the selected participants. Local hospitality will be provided to participants during all four days of the workshop. Accommodation will be provided only to the participants in the HBCSE guest house.
