Expert: Dr. Jayachandra Bingi, Assistant professor in IIITDM, Kancheepuram
Dr. Jayachandra Bingi is trying to innovate by understanding nature’s way rather than mimicking it straight away. He acquired his PhD in Physics (nanophotonics) from IIT Madras, carried out the post doctoral research in NTU Singapore. He published 18 research papers, 7 patents, 3 book chapters and established the Bio-inspired Research and Development (BiRD) Laboratory through sponsored research funding.
